About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Governance Manager to join our team at Wellcome, a global charitable foundation dedicated to improving health for everyone. As a Governance Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the effective governance and decision-making processes of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Corporate Governance and Compliance: Provide expert guidance and support on corporate governance and compliance matters, ensuring that our organization adheres to the highest standards of governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Board Support and Governance: Assist in the preparation and coordination of board meetings, including the development of meeting materials, minutes, and follow-up actions.
  • Governance Processes and Procedures: Help manage and improve our governance processes and procedures, ensuring that they are effective, efficient, and aligned with our organization's goals and objectives.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, board members, and external partners, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Experience in Governance and Compliance: Proven experience in governance and compliance roles, with a strong understanding of corporate governance principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Board Support and Governance Expertise: Excellent knowledge of board support and governance practices, including meeting preparation, minute-taking, and follow-up actions.
  • Strong Organizational and Administrative Skills: Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
