Role Overview

As a Children's Residential Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing and secure environment for children and young people. Your contribution will be essential in shaping the operational dynamics of the residential home.

Each day will present unique challenges and rewarding experiences as you engage with the lives of children and young people, akin to the relationships you maintain with family and friends.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities aimed at promoting the growth and development of our residents. These include:

  • Encouraging independence: Assist children and young people with daily tasks, helping them to build confidence and self-sufficiency.
  • Establishing a structured environment: Provide guidance and support to ensure clear expectations and accountability.
  • Creating a safe space: Foster meaningful relationships that allow children and young people to feel secure and supported.
  • Facilitating memorable experiences: Engage residents in diverse activities that promote joy and adventure in their lives.

Candidate Profile

While experience in a residential setting is advantageous, it is not mandatory. We value transferable skills from various backgrounds, including education and caregiving. The ideal candidate will possess:
