Join Phoenix Group as a Lead Cybersecurity Strategist, reporting directly to the Head of Cybersecurity within our Information Security Team.

Role Overview:

In the capacity of Lead Cybersecurity Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in protecting the critical assets of Phoenix Group. Your responsibilities will encompass the implementation of comprehensive security protocols, risk identification, and ensuring adherence to industry regulations. The successful candidate will oversee the security of emerging technologies within Phoenix, contributing to our security enhancement initiatives. You will also engage in continuous threat and industry analysis, leveraging both internal and external resources to mitigate security risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to architect secure systems, networks, and applications.
  • Perform in-depth risk assessments to uncover vulnerabilities and potential threats.
  • Lead incident response activities in the event of security breaches.
  • Facilitate and engage in security audits, implementing necessary modifications to address identified issues.
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies, standards, procedures, and compliance with industry regulations.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Expertise in endpoint security, network security, identity management, and data protection.
  • Familiarity with securing cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and Oracle.
  • Proven ability to spearhead security initiatives and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate complex security concepts to non-specialists.
  • Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH) are preferred.
