Role Overview:

As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be instrumental in our mission to enhance software quality and user satisfaction. Your role will involve designing and maintaining testing frameworks, fostering quality practices within teams, and overseeing test execution to ensure our products align with customer and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with development teams to grasp project requirements, advise on testing strategies, and implement framework enhancements.
  2. Develop and maintain test frameworks, tools, and continuous integration workflows.
  3. Work closely with the Product team to ensure QA objectives align with business goals.
  4. Conduct exploratory and automated testing of software applications, providing insights on scalability and performance.
  5. Identify, document, and assist in resolving defects in collaboration with development teams.
  6. Support developer experience initiatives, automated test creation, and feature projects.
  7. Contribute to the enhancement of quality and software development methodologies.
  8. Engage in incident management processes to identify and mitigate preventable issues.

Qualifications:

  1. Proficient in white-box testing with a strong ability to analyze code.
  2. Over 5 years of experience in automated software testing and quality assurance.
  3. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  4. Experience with distributed systems.
  5. Solid understanding of software development and testing principles, along with DevOps fundamentals.
  6. Proficient in test automation and scripting, particularly in Python, with experience in developing testing frameworks.
  7. Experience in testing web and/or desktop applications.
  8. Knowledge of performance and load testing tools (e.g., Jmeter, Loadrunner, Locust).
  9. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  10. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  11. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
