Job Summary

We are seeking a Principal Software Development Engineer in Test to join our Digital Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating, driving, and building test strategies that are robust, reusable, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and tools
  • Design and implement test plans, test specifications, and automated tests
  • Manage test environments, test devices, and define consistent test data and reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute tests using the latest UI/Mobile test automation technologies, processes, and tools
  • Lead, mentor, up-skill, and inspire other automation engineers
  • Deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients

Requirements

  • Strong experience in test automation using Cucumber/Ruby, Robot, WebDriver, Selenium
  • Experience with cloud-based testing frameworks such as Browser Stack, Sauce Labs, Appium, Calabash, TestCloud
  • Good understanding of web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS, REST, and JSON
  • Experience with test and issue management tools such as Jira, RTC, TestRail, and Quality Centre
  • CI/CD tools such as Confluence, Jira, Jenkins, Git, GitHub, Stash, SonarQube, Performance Centre

Desirable Skills

  • Background as a developer
  • Load and Performance Testing experience
  • PaaS/IaaS experience
  • DevOps processes and experience
  • Agile methodologies experience
  • Strong experience delivering to AAA accessibility standards and usability principles
