About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team at 4050 Development LLC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing testing strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop automated testing frameworks to ensure efficient and effective testing of our software products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
  • Develop and maintain testing plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
  • Identify and report defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Develop and maintain testing tools and infrastructure to support testing efforts.
  • Conduct manual testing and exploratory testing to identify defects and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure testing is integrated into the development process.
  • Develop and maintain testing metrics and reporting to measure testing effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Proven experience (at least 5 years) in planning, leading, and implementing QA and testing strategies.
  • Proven experience with software development skills, ideally in Python.
  • Desired experience in security, and infrastructure testing and practices.
