About the Role

As a Test Engineer at Swift Software, you'll be part of a dynamic software development team environment where your testing skills will be crucial to the delivery of mission-critical financial software.

Responsibilities
  1. Participate in the whole cycle of development of new user stories: requirements review, solution design, testing plan, and development testing.
  2. Perform software delivery tasks (builds, installation of release on test environments, etc).
  3. Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
  4. Design, develop, execute and maintain test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
  5. Help troubleshoot issues.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor Degree in relevant field of computing (IT, Computer engineering, Computer Science, Informatics).
  2. Experience in testing is an asset.
  3. Familiarity with Agile frameworks is an added advantage.
  4. Testing methodology certification (e.g. ISTQB) is a plus.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  6. Testing background with experience or knowledge of following are nice to have:
  7. Basic knowledge in functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, performance testing.
  8. Agile Mind-set: You like to learn and continuously improve the way we work.
  9. Very good communication skills, including remote meeting setups.
