Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist in Haematology

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist in Haematology to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to patients with haematological conditions. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing nursing interventions to meet the needs of patients, as well as providing education and support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assess and plan nursing interventions to meet the needs of patients with haematological conditions.
  2. Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote self-management and independence.
  3. Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  4. Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Experience of working in a haematology setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
