Galileo Global Education is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Student Data and Records Specialist to join our team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of student information within our systems.

As a Student Data and Records Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and verifying student records, acting as a primary point of contact for inquiries related to these records, and supporting the preparation of regulatory data submissions. You will also contribute to the implementation of new data management initiatives and provide valuable data analysis reports to inform decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and verify the accuracy of student records within our student information system.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all student records inquiries, providing clear and concise information to students, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure accurate and timely preparation of regulatory data submissions.
  • Contribute to the successful implementation of new data management systems and initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and user adoption.
  • Generate comprehensive data analysis reports to support informed decision-making across various departments within Galileo Global Education.
  • Actively participate in internal audit processes, ensuring compliance with data protection laws and regulations.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and evolving regulatory reporting requirements for student data management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Data Analysis or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with Higher Education Student Administration (HESA) systems, particularly Data Futures.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and unwavering commitment to data accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and various student records management systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling clear and concise interactions with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity, demonstrating respect for diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
