Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Management and Data Support Specialist to join our team at Red - Specialist Recruitment. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients in the shipping industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and assist the Energy Management and Data Lead in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of vessel data submissions to Eco Insights container.
  • Deputise for the Energy Management and Data Lead during periods of vacation or absence, providing seamless support to the team.
  • Monitor and correct daily submissions of vessel data, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Prepare and submit client reports as directed by the Energy Management and Data Lead, providing valuable insights to our clients.
  • Review and revert Quarterly Shipboard Energy meeting minutes (SFTEC 30) within designated timeframes, ensuring effective communication with vessels.
  • Promote energy awareness throughout the fleet, encouraging all employees to adopt energy-efficient practices.
  • Participate in the Energy Committee, contributing to the development of energy-saving initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Fleet Groups to produce, review, and update Performance Dashboards, providing actionable insights to improve energy efficiency.
  • Conduct Energy Management Familiarisation for new employees and Senior Officers during the Induction Process, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Enroll vessels into ESI (Environmental Ship Index) to reduce port costs, enhancing our clients' operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and submit SFENV 9 EU – CO2 Emissions Monitoring Plan and Emissions Reports for all qualifying voyages, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare the SEEMP Part II and submit it for Confirmation of Compliance, reviewing data reported by ships and submitting aggregated annual reports for IMO DCS through Lloyds CO2 verifier.
  • Assist with projects within the Operations team as required, providing flexible support to our clients.
