Reception Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reception Supervisor to join our team at Mercure Liverpool Atlantic Tower Hotel. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process, and maintaining the highest standards of hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the front desk team to ensure seamless guest service delivery.
  • Manage guest requests, complaints, and feedback in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Monitor and maintain the appearance and standards of the reception area, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of guest services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales revenue and enhance guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk procedures, guest services, and revenue management.
