Job Title: Reception Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Reception Supervisor to join our team at NHS Jobs. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our reception areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with staff regarding policies and procedures, ensuring a consistent and high-quality service is delivered to our patients and visitors.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to cascade information, address any concerns, and promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Ensure the accurate completion of staff timesheets, maintaining accurate records and adhering to NHS policies.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues on relevant policies and procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Respond to queries and enquiries from the public, signposting them to relevant services as necessary, and providing a high level of customer service.
  • Prepare and manage detailed rotas on a weekly basis, ensuring all reception areas are adequately staffed and meeting the needs of our patients and visitors.
  • Exercise direct line management of staff, including annual leave, sickness, and other personnel-related matters.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be highly organized, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
