Join our dynamic team within a multi-site hospital environment, featuring a robust department of operating theatres:
Ø A dedicated Orthopaedic Centre of Excellence with four operating theatres and a recovery unit.
Ø Comprehensive Maternity Services and Main Theatres, equipped with five operating theatres and a recovery unit, catering to day surgeries, emergency interventions, and specialized obstetric care.
We are on the lookout for a highly skilled and motivated Band 6 Anaesthetic Nurse/ODP who is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in alignment with our Trust's WeCare Values.
What We Expect From You:
Ø Valid registration as a Nurse with NMC pin or as an ODP with HCPC registration.
Ø Strong leadership capabilities.
Ø Excellent communication skills.
Ø Ability to collaborate effectively within a team focused on providing safe, patient-centered care.
Ø Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving demands of the service.
Working Pattern: Long day (8-8), Day (8-6), Night shifts, weekends, and bank holidays.
Main Responsibilities:
As a vital member of the theatre multidisciplinary team, your responsibilities will include:
Collaborating with all theatre team members to ensure the highest level of individualized peri-operative care. Demonstrating the ability to perform all relevant duties autonomously while managing time effectively. Supporting Band 7 team leaders in overseeing daily theatre operations and taking charge when necessary. Understanding budget management, change implementation, workforce management, and roster coordination as essential components of the role. Acting as a mentor and role model to junior colleagues, fostering their professional development and performance.About Our Organization:
