**Job Summary**
As a Functional Skills Tutor, you will be responsible for facilitating the effective and efficient learning and assessment of learners undergoing Functional Skills Maths & English qualifications. Your primary focus will be on creating an engaging and motivational learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of your learners.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Develop and deliver lesson plans that meet the needs of your learners, ensuring they understand their learning topics and progress towards their qualifications.
* Assess, assist, and encourage learners in their learning processes, providing individualised support to help them overcome challenges.
* Review and adapt materials used in classes, explaining complex topics and addressing learner queries in a clear and concise manner.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting learner engagement and motivation.
* Differentiate course content to accommodate learners with varying learning styles, ensuring all learners can engage fully with the material.
* Maintain accurate learner records and ensure all portfolios meet the required standards.
* Manage learner behaviour in the classroom and on company premises, promoting a safe and respectful learning environment.
