We are seeking an experienced Functional Skills Tutor/Teacher to join our team at Education for Industry Training. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, teaching, and supporting our Apprentices to complete their Functional Skills Level 2 qualifications.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver classroom and workplace-based sessions to support learners in achieving their qualifications
- Develop and implement tailored 1-2-1 support plans to meet individual learner needs
- Assess learners' work and provide constructive feedback to support their progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a learner-centred approach to curriculum delivery
- Support learners with additional learning needs, where required
- Possession of a teaching qualification (Cert Ed, DET, or PGCE) or equivalent
- A Level 2 qualification in Maths and English or equivalent
- Knowledge of Functional Skills National Curriculum requirements and experience in developing resources and assessing learners' work
- Experience in delivering a learner-centred approach to curriculum delivery to learners at various levels of learning
