About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Functional Skills Coach to join our team at Randstad. As a key member of our apprenticeship program, you will play a pivotal role in helping learners achieve their full potential in English and maths.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and guidance to apprentices in English and maths up to Level 2.
  • Create personalized learning plans that cater to individual learner needs and goals.
  • Provide additional support and resources to learners who require extra help.
  • Collaborate with the Line Manager and Head of Operations to ensure excellence in program delivery.
  • Manage a caseload of learners efficiently, ensuring timely progression and achievement of qualifications.
Requirements
  • Secure and consistent subject knowledge in a Functional Skills/work-related environment.
  • Experience in delivering Functional Skills to a high standard.
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in English or maths specialism.
  • L3 Teaching award in education & training (or equivalent).
  • Excellent relationship management skills with learners, team members, and management.
  • Strong communication skills across various mediums (verbal, written, ICT).
