Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver high-quality functional skills lessons in Maths and English, tailored to meet the needs of each individual learner.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
- Assess learner needs and develop individualised learning plans, ensuring learners achieve their functional skills qualifications.
- Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback, supporting learners in achieving their goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for all learners, staying up to date with curriculum changes and best practices in functional skills education.
- A teaching qualification or subject specialist qualification at Level 4 (Level 5 - new standards), with a commitment to obtain the relevant Level 4 qualification within a specified timeframe.
- At least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy.
- Proven track record of effective teaching in your subject specialism, with the ability to gain and maintain a clean, enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
