Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at GSL Education. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing individualized support to students with unique learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to students with learning needs, working closely with teachers and other professionals to implement personalized learning plans.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans, ensuring students receive tailored support to meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, Special Education Coordinators, and other professionals to provide a comprehensive support system for students.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their well-being and engagement in the learning process.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents as needed.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and other professionals.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting student success.
  • Initiative and a willingness to collaborate with the teaching team to ensure student needs are met.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.
