Dedicated Learning Support Assistant

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to provide individualized support to a student with unique learning needs in a vibrant educational setting.
As a key member of the teaching team, you will work closely with teachers, Special Education Coordinators, and other professionals to implement personalized learning plans tailored to the student's specific requirements. Your role will involve fostering a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages the student's academic growth, social-emotional development, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities:- Provide one-on-one support to a designated student, assisting with their academic progress and daily activities.
- Collaborate with teachers and specialists to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensure the student's learning goals are met.
- Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes the student's confidence and engagement.
- Monitor the student's progress, providing regular feedback to the teacher and parents on their achievements and areas for development.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders involved in the student's education, fostering a collaborative approach to support their success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.
- Patience, adaptability, and a commitment to creating a positive and encouraging learning experience.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Previous experience working with students with special educational needs is desirable but not essential.
