Job Title: Corporate Account Executive - Commercial Manager

Location: Remote (with occasional travel)

Job Type: Full-time

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Account Executive - Commercial Manager to join our team at Brown & Brown Europe. As a key member of our regional team, you will be responsible for promoting our business and setting behavioral standards while maintaining and growing a book of business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and deliver against agreed Renewal Retention and/or New Business targets, contributing towards the team's overall budget objectives & KPI's
  • Complete all roles and tasks as required, ensuring adherence to Higos procedures and policies at all times
  • Creating a customer-led culture where sales and customer standards, discipline, activities, and best practice are delivered
  • Client visits, presentations to insurers, obtaining and submitting best in market quotations for new business or renewals
  • Comply and manage team credit control
  • Debt Management - ensure all monies are collected and allocated appropriately and keep line manager informed of any current, potential or perceived problems with bad debt
  • Manage and prioritize diaries/tasks, these are to be kept up to date
  • Audit staff 1 per month and feedback / Carry out Annual and Mid-Year reviews with team members
  • Manage staffing levels including recruitment
  • Complete any training that is deemed necessary for the role and complete the actions set in line with the plan
  • Ensure all training is completed to deadline set for you and your team. Log all training and development on your Continuous Professional Development Plan (CPD)

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of broking large/technical commercial insurance risks across various business lines
  • Experience of commerce and industry and familiarity with markets and economic trends
  • Ability to develop and maintain business contacts and goodwill
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prepare and present reports
  • Pro-active and self-motivated
  • Strong planning and organisation skills to meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Co-operative and supportive team player
