About the Role

Community Integrated Care is seeking a highly skilled Communications Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As a key member of our Communications team, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering our internal and external communications strategy, positioning us as a high-quality care provider and leading voice within the sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify newsworthy developments, stories, or profile-raising opportunities, working with the External Communications & Marketing team to generate media coverage, promoting our charity's best practice, innovations, and successes.
  • Provide support and advice to our Regional Business Units, helping them best engage with their local networks and market our services, ensuring that our brand is professionally represented externally.
  • Work closely with the charity's Partnerships & Communities team to support the positive promotion of the team's initiatives, projects, and opportunities, helping to showcase us as an innovative care provider and employer.
  • Generate creative and compelling content for a range of communications channels, both print and digital, in a timely and impactful way, to positively position the charity as a great place to work and be supported.
  • Support with the planning and execution of large-scale events, such as awards or roadshows, for our internal audiences, to foster a culture of connection and celebration.
  • Support with the creation and delivery of a range of internal communications campaigns to achieve awareness, engagement, or behavior change, amongst our 6000-strong workforce.
Requirements
  • Educated to Degree level, preferably within a relevant subject (Marketing, Communications, etc).
  • Previous experience in a communications role within a values-driven organization.
  • Demonstrable experience of creating and implementing effective communications plans.
  • Excellent copywriter and content creator.
  • Willing to be flexible in working hours and travel.
