As a key member of our Communications team, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering our internal and external communications strategy, positioning us as a high-quality care provider and employer of choice.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective communications plans to promote our charity's best practice, innovations, and successes.
- Identify newsworthy developments, stories, or profile-raising opportunities and work with the External Communications & Marketing team to generate media coverage.
- Provide support and advice to our Regional Business Units to help them engage with their local networks and market our services.
- Work closely with the charity's Partnerships & Communities team to promote their initiatives, projects, and opportunities.
- Develop and deliver creative and compelling content for various communications channels, including print and digital media.
- Support the planning and execution of large-scale events, such as awards or roadshows, to foster a culture of connection and celebration.
- Manage and develop team members to ensure they maximize their performance and meet required standards.
- Educated to degree level, preferably in a relevant subject (Marketing, Communications, etc.).
- Previous experience in a communications role within a values-driven organization.
- Demonstrable experience of creating and implementing effective communications plans.
- Excellent copywriter and content creator.
- Ability to work flexibly and travel as required.
