Job Title: Duty Manager/Personal Trainer

Company: 4Leisure Recruitment

Job Type: Casual 8 hour contract

Location: Various locations in London

Hourly Rate: £13.15 per hour

Personal Training Rate: £30 per session

On-Target Earnings: £27-30K per annum

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Duty Manager/Personal Trainer to join our team. As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operation of our luxury residential leisure facilities, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth running of the club.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operation of the leisure facility, including the gym, swimming pool, group exercise classes, and personal training sessions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, and external contractors.
  • Be the first point of contact for all queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with the Club & Spa Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Drive personal training sales and revenue growth.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for members and staff.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in a similar role in the health and fitness industry, preferably in a 5-star environment.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Must be detail-oriented, friendly, and organized.
  • Level 2 Gym Instructor/Level 3 Personal Trainer with Group Exercise certification.
  • First Aid and/or RLSS Emergency Responder qualification desirable.
  • Health and safety experience within a leisure facility.
  • Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing circumstances.
