**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Assistant Network Manager to join our team at Class Technology Solutions Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist ICT support to our clients in the Abingdon area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • **Provide Specialist ICT Support:** Ensure the school/centre establishes and maintains high-quality learning facilities.
  • **Technical Expertise:** Connect up and check hardware for normal operation, set up a suitable desktop environment for users, install simple software applications, and perform basic maintenance tasks for user accounts.
  • **Processes:** Follow an acceptance test procedure on new ICT equipment, update records of installed hardware and software, and maintain a software library.
  • **Checks:** Perform regular checks on client systems, including disk space checks, backup checks, event log checks, and SNMP Traps.
Requirements:
  • **Experience:** In a helpdesk or support environment.
  • **Qualifications:** Professional qualifications (Degree / Masters in Computing) or Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MSCE).
  • **Skills:** Microsoft Server Skills, professional and polished communication skills, and experience in the education sector.
  • **Certifications:** Clean and valid DBS disclosure.
