Position: Infrastructure Incident Specialist

Become a vital member of the newly established 24/7 team at LinkPool as an Infrastructure Incident Specialist, committed to supporting and maintaining state-of-the-art infrastructure. Reporting directly to the founder and infrastructure engineers, you will be instrumental in ensuring high standards of uptime and reliability. Acquire valuable skills in monitoring and managing infrastructure across major Layer 1 and Layer 2 chains, collaborating with seasoned professionals.

Your responsibilities will encompass the upkeep of Chainlink nodes, blockchain full nodes, validators, monitoring systems, and Kubernetes cluster configurations. As the primary point of contact for incidents, you will address and escalate issues in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to incidents during designated working hours
  • Document infrastructure and maintenance protocols
  • Ensure operational integrity of backup systems
  • Effectively manage monitoring services
  • Collaborate with vendors for issue resolution
  • Participate in after-hours support and on-call rotations
  • Adhere to established incident management procedures
  • Meet or exceed service level agreement expectations
  • Identify and resolve technical issues
  • Conduct root cause analysis

Qualifications:

  • Preferred time zone around GMT+8, GMT, or GMT-8
  • Enthusiastic about Web3 and Ethereum networks
  • Experience with Blockchain Full Nodes
  • Familiarity with Docker and Linux command line interface
  • Strong eagerness to learn new technologies
  • Self-driven with a collaborative work ethic
  • Ability to work closely with engineering teams

No prior technical expertise is required, though familiarity is advantageous.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Grafana
  • Understanding of Ethereum, Solidity, and Chainlink
  • Knowledge of the DeFi ecosystem
