Make UK is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team and drive sales growth and expansion of our client base. As a key member of our Apprentices and Skills Business Development Team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a sales plan to increase revenues from both new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business sales and marketing plans in collaboration with the Apprentices and Skills Business Development Team
  • Generate substantial sales growth with existing and new clients, focusing on technical training
  • Identify new potential markets, customers, and opportunities, and stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments
  • Liaise with other employees within Make UK's customer-facing teams to identify effective new business opportunity identification and referral
  • Utilize CRM systems and sales tools effectively to track progress, manage pipelines, and optimize sales performance
  • Achieve targets set within the business plan and report monthly on sales pipeline values and other associated KPIs
  • Target prospect organizations and individuals through various methods, including cold calling, marketing activities, and sales lead generation

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven sales professional with experience in a service/solutions-based role
  • Sales and commercial skills to drive sales revenue
  • Ability to work and communicate at the highest level, think strategically, and deliver on objectives
