Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in the Neuro Rehab and General Rehab department. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing specialist psychological assessment and therapy to clients with complex mental health conditions.

Main Duties
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide highly specialist psychological therapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy, to clients with complex mental health conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks associated with client care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and develop treatment plans.

Person Specification
  • Postgraduate doctoral level training in applied psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology.
  • Postdoctoral training in one or more additional specialized areas of psychological practice.
  • HCPC registration as an Applied Psychologist with Chartered Status.
  • Experience working as a qualified applied psychologist in a multidisciplinary team setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
