We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team in the Stroke Service. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing specialist psychological assessment and treatment to individuals with complex mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide highly specialist psychological assessment and treatment to individuals with complex mental health conditions.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that psychological perspectives are taken into account in the care of patients.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that are tailored to the individual needs of patients.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide advice on psychological aspects of risk management.
- Provide leadership and supervision to other psychological therapists.
- Post-graduate doctoral level training in applied Psychology (or its equivalent) as accredited by the BPS.
- Post-doctoral training in one or more additional specialised areas of psychological practice.
- HCPC registration as an Applied Psychologist with Chartered Status.
- Registration with BPS.
- Experience of working as a qualified applied psychologist within the designated service.
