Senior Clinical Psychologist Stroke Services

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Stroke Services team in Wolverhampton. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist psychological input to individuals referred to our service, working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing highly specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention to individuals with complex and challenging mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide highly specialist psychological assessment and formulation of clients with complex mental health conditions.
- Develop and implement highly specialist psychological interventions, including individual and group therapy.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and effective communication.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures.
- Participate in service evaluation and research activities.

Person SpecificationWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist who possesses the following qualities:
- Postgraduate doctoral level training in applied psychology.
- HCPC registration as an Applied Psychologist with Chartered Status.
- Experience of working as a qualified applied psychologist in a similar service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
