Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Stroke Services team in Wolverhampton. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialized clinical input to individuals referred to our service, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide highly specialist psychological assessment and therapy to individuals with complex and challenging mental health conditions.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
  • Develop and implement highly specialist psychological interventions to support individuals with complex mental health needs.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service-wide initiatives to improve patient outcomes and experience.

Person Specification

We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist with a postgraduate doctoral level qualification in applied psychology, and experience of working in a similar role. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

You will also have a strong understanding of the principles of psychological assessment and therapy, and be able to develop and implement highly specialist psychological interventions to support individuals with complex mental health needs.
