About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 8a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing highly specialist psychological assessment and therapy to clients with complex mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide highly specialist psychological assessment and therapy to clients with complex mental health conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management plans for clients.
- Provide leadership and supervision to junior staff members.
- Contribute to service development and evaluation.
Requirements
- Post-graduate doctoral level training in applied Psychology.
- HCPC registration as an Applied Psychologist with Chartered Status.
- Experience of working in a physical health setting or other specialties with transferable skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
