About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our Children and Families team in Gloucestershire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services to children and families, working closely with colleagues to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take a lead in promoting and supporting quality control and improvement activities within the team and across the service
  • Provide supervision and management oversight for the practice and development of Trainee Social Workers on placement and NQSW within the team
  • Work to create the best outcomes for children and young people with complex and challenging needs, risks, and circumstances
  • Support performance activities and contribute to the development of the team
Requirements
  • Social Work England registration
  • Experience at Senior Social Worker level
  • A recognised qualification in Social Work
  • To have completed your ASYE year (if you qualified after 2012)
  • A full driving licence and willingness to drive
  • Enhanced DBS clearance

  • Between £45,441 - £48,474 per annum subject to experience
  • Annual retention payment of £2,000
