About You

As a Senior Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional services that ensure the best outcomes for children and young people in Gloucestershire. You will be a resilient and driven professional, committed to making our vision for children's services a reality. Managing a protected caseload, you will focus on achieving optimal outcomes for children and young people facing complex challenges.

Your responsibilities will include leading quality control and improvement initiatives within the team and across the service, as well as overseeing performance activities. You will also provide supervision and guidance for Trainee Social Workers and Newly Qualified Social Workers within the team.

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

Registration with Social Work England Experience at the Senior Social Worker level A recognized qualification in Social Work Completion of your ASYE year (if qualified after 2012) A valid driving license and willingness to drive Enhanced DBS clearance
