About You

As a Senior Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional services that yield positive outcomes for children and young people in Gloucestershire. We are looking for resilient and driven professionals who can contribute to our vision for children's services. You will manage a designated caseload, focusing on achieving the best outcomes for children and young people facing complex challenges.

Your responsibilities will include leading quality control and improvement initiatives within the team, overseeing performance activities, and providing supervision and guidance to Trainee Social Workers and Newly Qualified Social Workers.

To be considered for this position, you should possess:

Registration with Social Work England Experience at a Senior Social Worker level A recognized qualification in Social Work Completion of your ASYE year (if qualified post-2012) A valid driving license and willingness to travel Enhanced DBS clearance
