Our team structures are designed to provide adequate support to staff while maintaining manageable caseloads, comprising a Team Manager, Advanced Practitioner, four Social Workers, and an ASYE. About You
As a Senior Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional services that yield the best outcomes for children and young people in Gloucestershire. You should be a resilient and driven professional capable of contributing to our vision for children's services. With a protected caseload, you will strive to achieve optimal outcomes for children and young people facing complex challenges.
Your responsibilities will include leading quality control and improvement initiatives within the team and across the service, as well as overseeing performance activities. You will also provide supervision and management support for Trainee Social Workers and Newly Qualified Social Workers (NQSW) within the team.
To be considered for this position, you should possess:
Registration with Social Work England Experience at the Senior Social Worker level A recognized qualification in Social Work Completion of your ASYE year (if you qualified after 2012) A valid driving license and willingness to drive Enhanced DBS clearanceHow to Apply
