We are excited to announce a vacancy for a Parking Compliance Officer, serving the areas of Barnstaple, Exeter, and Kingsteignton. The role of a Parking Compliance Officer is crucial in ensuring that all motorists adhere to parking regulations on public roads and in parking facilities. This position plays a vital role in maintaining traffic flow and enhancing public safety.

This role is ideal for individuals who:

Enjoy outdoor work, taking advantage of fresh air and physical activity. Seek to be part of a dependable organization and team, making a significant impact in their local community. Possess strong Customer Service abilities and enjoy engaging with the public. Thrive in a diverse team environment but can also work independently with minimal supervision. Are resilient, dependable, and diligent. Hold a valid UK Driving License.

You will demonstrate excellent customer care skills and communicate effectively and amicably. You will patrol public roads and council parking areas to issue Penalty Charge Notices. You will assist the public by providing guidance on parking regulations and provisions. You will report any issues related to street furniture, including signs and road markings.
