About the Role

The Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Facilities Team as an Audit Monitoring Officer. This exciting opportunity will allow you to support the Operations Manager in ensuring the facilities team and the hospital operate at maximum efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in weekly technical cleaning standards inspections of Domestic Services, including clinical and non-clinical areas.
  • Assist the Training and Audit Department Manager in reviewing monitoring systems to ensure departments operate efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Observe and record the safe use of equipment by Domestic, Catering, Portering, and Waste services staff.
  • Monitor all aspects of Health & Safety, COSHH, and other relevant legislation to ensure compliance.
  • Collate and input audit form data returned by Ward Housekeepers on a weekly basis.
  • Maintain and update paper-based records and information as required.
