Position Overview

In response to our expanding operations and the necessity for effective risk management and business resilience, we are excited to present an opportunity for an IT Risk and Business Resilience Manager to become a part of our dynamic team.

Role Summary:

This position is responsible for managing the IT risk framework and business resilience strategies across the organization, ensuring they align with our overarching goals and regulatory obligations. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in IT risk management and business resilience planning, along with demonstrated expertise in executing risk evaluations. A comprehensive understanding of IT and Business Resilience principles, best practices, and experience in developing frameworks of this nature is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Resilience Management:

  • Review and enhance the Group Business Resilience Policy.
  • Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) for central operations.
  • Revise and maintain business resilience plans based on BIA findings.
  • Facilitate annual business resilience testing.
  • Provide guidance and support to various entities on business resilience processes and compliance.

IT Risk Oversight:

  • Establish and execute an IT risk management framework for the central IT environment.
  • Identify and map IT risks and controls related to IT operations.
  • Conduct annual IT risk evaluations and ensure that mitigation strategies are in place.
  • Report on the IT risk landscape and escalate significant risks to senior leadership.

Disaster Recovery Coordination:

  • Collaborate with the central IT team to ensure disaster recovery plans meet business resilience requirements.
  • Ensure systems can be restored within agreed Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs).
  • Work with the central IT team to conduct regular disaster recovery drills and update plans accordingly.

Third-party IT Risk Management:

  • Oversee supplier IT risk, ensuring adherence to business resilience and disaster recovery contractual obligations.
  • Collect and assess supplier business resilience and disaster recovery documentation annually for critical partners.
  • Ensure third-party suppliers comply with established business resilience and disaster recovery standards.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits of supplier IT risk management practices to ensure alignment with the organization's IT risk management framework.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven expertise in IT risk management and business resilience planning.
  • Demonstrated experience in performing risk evaluations and developing mitigation plans.
  • Degree in Information Technology, Risk Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Professional certifications or knowledge of frameworks such as CRISC, CBCP, ISO 22301, ITIL, or other relevant credentials.
  • Strong grasp of IT operations, risk assessment methodologies, and disaster recovery best practices.

The successful candidate will be accountable for implementing solutions that significantly impact business users, operational teams, and clients. This role offers opportunities to engage in both short-term and long-term initiatives.

Additional Information:

This position may require occasional travel and some out-of-hours work, depending on project needs and incident management.
