Purpose of the Role

The Retail Operations Analyst will play a critical role in driving sales growth and optimizing store performance. This individual will be responsible for analyzing 360-degree data to identify key performance drivers and opportunities for improvement. The successful candidate will work closely with the Retail Operations team to develop and implement data-driven insights that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Performance Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of store performance, including trading performance, footfall levels, conversion rates, and average transaction value.
  • Identify Performance Drivers: Collaborate with the Head of Retail Operations and Area Managers to gather insights on performance drivers and opportunities for improvement.
  • Optimize Staffing Levels: Use forecasted sales, footfall, and ATV measures to optimize staff levels in stores and enhance store productivity.
  • Develop Sales Performance Reports: Create detailed sales performance reports and conduct weekly meetings with store managers to discuss performance metrics.
  • Support Retail Operations: Assist the Retail Operations team with deployment scheduling and other tasks as needed to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.
What You'll Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Commercial Experience: Proven experience in a commercial role with analytical skills, including statistical analysis, trend forecasting, and proficiency in using data analysis software.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
