Position Overview

We are seeking 5 exceptional Junior Culinary Specialists eager to advance their professional journey.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to our Catering & Retail Services division, where you will prepare meals in a prestigious dining environment serving distinguished guests, including notable figures and dignitaries.

As part of a unique parliamentary setting, you will work with the highest quality ingredients throughout the week, specifically from Monday to Friday.

In your capacity as a Junior Culinary Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional creativity, production, and service. Your enthusiasm will be evident in the dishes you assist in crafting, and you will thrive in a dynamic, professional kitchen atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute mise-en-place tasks as directed by your Line Manager.
  • Assist in inventory management, menu contributions, and ordering processes.
  • Adhere to all food hygiene and health & safety protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in preparation for service.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of all menus and ingredients.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in fine dining establishments is preferred.
  • A professional, innovative, and creative chef with the ability to tackle daily challenges and a passion for culinary arts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to foster effective relationships and collaborate within a team.
  • Possession of NVQ Level 1 & 2 or 3 qualifications in Catering and Hospitality or equivalent experience.
