Job Title: Underwriting Support Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Underwriting Support Specialist to join our team at Brown & Brown Europe. As an Underwriting Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our underwriting activities, ensuring the smooth operation of our business, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communication: Collaborate with our clients in France, responding to their inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage client files, maintain accurate records, and perform administrative tasks to support our underwriting team.
  • Data Entry: Accurately and efficiently input data into our internal underwriting systems, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our team members in the UK and Belgium to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Support Services: Provide support to our underwriting team, preparing new business submissions, and other documents as needed.

Requirements:

  • Language Skills: Fluency in French and a very good command of English.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in insurance, preferably in property insurance.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Administrative Skills: Experience in processing documents and managing files.
  • Learning Ability: Capacity to learn new procedures and software systems.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in all tasks.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attitude: Positive, proactive, patient, and diligent.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well in a team.
  • Professionalism: Experience in a professional environment.
