Head and Neck Ward Staff Nurse Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our team in the Head and Neck Ward at Northampton General Hospital. As a key member of our ward team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Main Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Maintain a good knowledge base of surgical conditions and treatments, using evidence-based practice to inform your decisions.
- Demonstrate competence in expanded roles in accordance with our expanded practice policy.
- Completion of a nursing degree programme and registration with the NMC.
- Previous experience in managing airway patients and recent experience in an acute setting.
- Desirable: ENT Head and Neck experience and knowledge, evidence of clinical effectiveness, research, and audit, and knowledge of our nursing strategy.
