Head and Neck Ward Staff Nurse Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our team in the Head and Neck Ward at Northampton General Hospital. As a key member of our ward team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Main Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Maintain a good knowledge base of surgical conditions and treatments, using evidence-based practice to inform decision-making.
- Demonstrate competence in expanded roles in accordance with the expanded practice policy.

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and qualifications:
- Completion of a nursing degree programme.
- NMC Registered Nurse.
- Previous experience in managing airway patients.
- Recent experience pre/post registration of working in an acute setting.
We also welcome applications from candidates with additional qualifications or experience in ENT and Head and Neck care.
