Project Overview

A major infrastructure project is underway, contributing to the upgrade of the UK's strategic defence capability. The project requires a skilled Security Project Manager to ensure its secure delivery and provide assurance to client functional security leads on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project managers to integrate security processes across the site and associated locations.
  • Maintain and review security management plans for the project.
  • Accurately record and investigate security incidents as necessary.
  • Promote a positive security culture across the project team.
  • Conduct security audits and prepare assurance reports as required.
  • Engage with external stakeholders and consultants, providing security advice and maintaining relationships with client security functions.
  • Support the project team in adhering to contractual security obligations.
  • Monitor personnel mobilisation and demobilisation.
  • Contribute to incident and emergency preparedness for project sites.
  • Promote Mace Services.

About You

You will have relevant degree qualifications or BTEC/HNC and possess working knowledge of current security policies and procedures for different Government Departments. A proven track record in managing client relationships, digital savvy, and leadership skills are essential. A security, construction, or project management background is required, and a desire to grow your career with Mace is highly valued.
