About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to provide specialist secretarial and administration support and advice within the Pharmacy Directorate Team.

Main Duties
  • Provide administrative support to the Pharmacy Directorate Team, including the preparation of agendas and minutes, and the management of electronic diaries.
  • Manage the inbox and prioritize emails for the Associate and Assistant Directors.
  • Support the team with the management of projects, including updating and managing the medicines management/clinical policy website.
  • Coordinate the work, take a lead on administrative processes, and provide supervision and support to the Pharmacy Directorate Team Administrators.
  • Apply Human Resource policies for Pharmacy Directorate Team Administrators, including recruitment, induction, and sickness absence monitoring.
  • Manage the monitoring and efficient processing of emails received via the Pharmacy Directorate inbox.

Key Requirements
  • Education to NVQ 3 level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of qualification or significant equivalent previous proven experience.

  • Demonstrable experience in dealing with the public and dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Intermediate knowledge of IT systems and software programmes such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Knowledge of NHS issues.
