Main Responsibilities- Work closely with the Director, Head of New Business, and BDM leadership team to drive the strategy forward and achieve business growth.
- Manage a client target pipeline, working closely with partners across our Key Pillars and Core Sectors to identify new business opportunities.
- Develop and implement effective onboarding solutions to ensure seamless client relationships and excellent client experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Shoosmiths EIGHT, IS, risk & ethics, to ensure operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and success of business initiatives.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on business performance, challenges, and achievements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and raise Shoosmiths' profile in the market.
- Work closely with the Head of New Business and Director on strategic pursuit planning for the business.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in new business generation, extensive client-facing experience, and a strong understanding of the professional services landscape. They will be comfortable managing their client network, making introductions, targeting new prospects, and generating new business. Risk and commercial awareness are essential, and the right candidate will be dynamic, comfortable with a wide range of responsibilities, and have a willingness to tackle any situation with a can-do attitude.
Any experience within connected services and holistic solutions would be advantageous.
