We are working with a multi-disciplinary consultancy that offers a unique opportunity for an Ecologist to join their team. This consultancy is a leading provider of environmental services, with a strong focus on ecology and biodiversity.

Job Summary

The Ecologist will be responsible for supporting the lead ecologist in project delivery, leading protected species surveys, and overseeing various environmental assessments. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced Ecologist to join a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality environmental services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting junior members of staff in project delivery, including protected species surveys and environmental assessments.
  • Leading protected species surveys, including obtaining necessary licenses and permits.
  • Overseeing various environmental assessments, including PEAs, EcIAs, HRAs, and BNG assessments.

Requirements

  • Experience with protected species surveys, including obtaining necessary licenses and permits.
  • Strong knowledge of wildlife legislation and regulations.
  • Full UK driving license.
