The Integrated Management System (IMS) Process Excellence Specialist will play a crucial role within the IMS & Process Governance Team. This position is tasked with ensuring that the value stream for the designated lifecycle segment is well-coordinated, effective, and efficient. Initially, the focus will be on designing and enhancing the process landscape while collaborating with process owners and specialists to develop and maintain business processes. This includes identifying process gaps, harmonizing workflows, minimizing redundancy, and ensuring seamless handoffs between processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize process flows based on value stream mapping and industry best practices in alignment with internal business leaders.
  • Collaborate with process owners, specialists, and governance teams to ensure that the value stream for your assigned lifecycle segment is developed in a coordinated and efficient manner, addressing IMS requirements.
  • Act as a steward of the IMS governance framework to ensure compliant process development in accordance with the BA Wind Process Framework.
  • Identify gaps within the value stream and work towards harmonizing processes to reduce duplication and overlap.
  • Ensure that process handoffs are complete and accurate to minimize delays and enhance quality.
  • Support the development of Performance Process Indicators (PPIs) and conduct evaluations for the processes under your responsibility, employing a problem-solving approach.
  • Utilize performance and compliance data to identify opportunities for improvement and drive continuous enhancement activities that optimize stakeholder value and overall business performance.
  • Collaborate with business process owners and specialists to create a harmonized and efficient value stream across the organization.

Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Operations Management, Quality Management, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Over 5 years of experience in business process design, improvement, optimization, and implementation, preferably with an integrated management system approach.
  • Familiarity with management system standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, and ISO 45001, and their integration.
  • Experience in process modeling using value stream mapping and BPMN 2.0, along with proficiency in business process management software.
  • Lean Six Sigma or similar industry-recognized qualifications in process excellence or quality management are advantageous.
