About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing Director to lead our business growth strategy. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales and profit growth across all channels, while ensuring harmonisation in sales and brand strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coach a team of 6 direct reports, with further recruitment to support business growth.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to deliver long-term, sustainable growth.
  • Ensure effective forecasting and stock management to maximise sales and profits.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for new sales channels, retailers, product categories, and brands.
  • Develop strategic relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Lead marketing activities with significant budget responsibilities, balancing brand objectives and ROI.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry news and trends, attending relevant networking events to ensure our business remains at the forefront of marketing changes.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in sales, digital marketing, or ecommerce.
  • Experience working in consumer non-food industries, preferably in a considered product purchase category.
  • Strong understanding and proven track record of achieving growth across D2C and Amazon.
  • Deep understanding of customers and trading experience, with the ability to demonstrate sustainable relationship building.
  • In-depth understanding of measuring, monitoring, and motivating a sales team.
  • Experience with budgeting, costing, financial planning, P&L, and ROI analysis.
  • Lead by example approach with excellent communication skills.
  • Degree-educated and full, clean, current driving license with ability to travel.
