About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to support the operational delivery of sports facilities and services at the University of the West of Scotland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain effective communication with the Sport Operations Manager and Sport Operations Co-ordinator to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Implement agreed policies and procedures locally, ensuring a high-quality user experience.
  • Assist in the development of sports services that positively impact student and staff wellbeing.
  • Deliver gym inductions, small group fitness sessions, and create tailored fitness programs.
  • Perform a range of administration duties, including cleaning and maintenance tasks.
Requirements
  • HNC qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of sports, leisure, and recreation, including associated user groups.
  • Ability to discuss knowledge and demonstrate awareness of basic health and fitness issues.
  • Basic computer literacy and/or ability to use specialist software relevant to the role.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality service and supporting an outstanding user experience.
